2013 Strike on the Day 'Coronation 60th Anniversary ' Sovereign - 6/02/2013
The 2013 “Struck on the Day” Gold Sovereign was minted on June 2, 2013, marking the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation. This special edition coin, limited to a specific mintage of 900 pieces, features Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of the Queen on the obverse and Benedetto Pistrucci’s St George and the Dragon on the reverse. Each coin was presented in a Royal Mint box and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
