1723 George I First Bust Shilling, SSC - Ex Fine and Lustrous

King George I (reign 1714 - 1727) second monarch of Great Brittan. Shilling 1723 SSC in angles. lustrous and genuine Extremely Fine, close to uncirculated.
"SCC" represents the "South Sea Company" that supplied large quantities of silver to the mint in return for the right to export money overseas. They totally over speculated this position, eventually causing the company to go bust.
Obverse
First laureate and draped bust facing right. GEORGIIVS.DG.M.BR.FR.ET.HIB.REX.F.D.
Reverse
Crowned Cruciform shields of Royal arms with SS and C in alternate angles. English shield of arms to date 1723. BRVNET.DVXS.R.I.A.TH.ET.EL.
