1845 Queen Victoria Shield Reverse Sovereign NGC MS 62
Victoria (1837-1901), Sovereign, 1845, 'Wider Date', first small young head, W.W. in relief on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, (MCE 506; Marsh 28; Bentley 978; S.3852). Extremely fine, some light scratches in the obverse field, visible only under close inspection.
Reverse :The Ensigns Armorial within a plain shield and surmounted by a crown. A branch of laurel is shown on each side of the shield. At the bottom the Thistle, Rose and Shamrock are placed with a small flower stop each side.
